Arcadia Head Coach Dave Bjorge, known as "Boots" by many announced after the Raiders' season ended last week that he would be stepping down from his position.

Dave headed the program for 19 years, finished with 286 victories, won a state championship with an undefeated season in 2014. He also guided the Raiders to the Final Four in 2005 losing in the semi-final, in 2007 losing in the title game to Sevastopol 6-3 and in 2010 losing in the semi-final once again. That's four Final Four appearances which puts him in a special group of coaches who have guided their programs to at least two Final Fours.

Dave's presence in the third base coaches box will be missed by those of us who know him well. He promoted the game and "pitched in" to further the public perception of the game.

Good luck in the future Dave! You will be missed by many!
