In a battle between two really good Division 5 schools on Thursday Seneca scored a run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win it 1-0.
Grace Ganshert alllowed eight hits and just the one run which was unearned she walked none. The winning pitcher was P. Hall who allowed no runs on six hits, fanned 14 and walked 4.
Ganshert tried valiantly to help her own cause getting three singles in five trips to the plate. Hall helped her cause with two hits while Mckenzie of Seneca also had two hits.
