Hartford overcame a 6-1 deficit, scoring four runs in the third inning and two in the fourth.
Lindsay Sandleback ripped a two-run homer in the first inning to put the Spartans up 2-0.
West scored four runs in the third inning on a two-run single by Mackenzie Rolf and a two-run home run by Kelsey Corbett (her first varsity home run).
Rolf finished 3-for-4 for the Spartans and Corbett went 2-for-3, adding a double. Mia Buske and Sandleback were each 2-for-4.
