After Mackenzie Rolf's two-run double in the top of the first, Slinger capitalized on six walks and a hit batter to score twice in its half of the first and twice in the second for a 4-2 lead.
The Spartans had just six hits, including a 2-for-3 night for Rolf.
West dropped to 11-6 overall and 8-5 in North Shore Conference games.
