West led 7-0 through four innings and went on to the 8-3 victory.
Paige Guse and Mackenzie Rolf had RBI singles in the first inning for the Spartans and Lindsay Sandleback had a two-run double and scored on Ava Thelen's RBI single in the second.
With two outs in the third, Kelsey Corbett doubled and scored on Avelina Wolfe's single. Guse had an RBI single in the fourth and Rolf had a run-scoring double in the sixth.
Slinger scored once in the fifth inning and tacked on two in the seventh.
Sandleback allowed just four hits through six innings and earned the complete-game victory for the Spartans (9-5 overall, 7-4 North Shore Conference.
Sandleback, Guse, Rolf and Wolfe had two hits each in the Spartan's 12-hit effort.
