Trips did in the West Bend West High School softball team in its final two games this week.
Fourth-ranked Arrowhead scored three runs in both the fourth and fifth innings for a 6-0 victory on Wednesday. Germantown tallied three runs in the bottom of the third to snap a 1-1 tie en route to a 4-1 home victory on Thursday.
Arrowhead, ranked fourth in the WisSports.net/Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association Div. 1 poll, outhit the Spartans 10-6 on Wednesday.
The Spartans had an 8=7 edge in hits on Thursday. Mia Buske, Lindsay Sandleback and Kailey Kurtz had two hits each for West.
West finished the regular season with a record of 13-13. The Spartans finished fourth in the North Shore Conference with an 11-7 record.
