Iola-Scandinavia (7-4, 14-7) broke open a 4-4 game with three runs in the fourth inning and went on to beat Weyauwega-Fremont (3-8, 5-11) 12-5 in a Central Wisconsin Conference - Eastern Division game. The Thunderbirds added two runs in the sixth inning and three runs in the seventh inning.
Jaelyn Sivertson and Maddie Much had four and three hits respectively. Sivertson had four RBI's including a two-run inside the park homerun in the fourth inning and a double in the first inning. Lizzie Jones also had two hits and Marin Hoyord had a double.
Maddie Much pitched the final 4 1/3 innings to earn the win. Much allowed two hits, one walk while striking out four batters.
Clara Sedlar had two doubles including a two-run double in the third inning for Weyauwega-Fremont.
