Campbellsport snuck by Kettle Moraine Lutheran 3-2 tonight.
In the third Carissa Heisdorf reached on an error, Kylie Krueger followed with a single and an error on the outfielder allowed Heisdorf to score. That brought up Lauren Heisdorf who crushed a 2 run homerun to give the Cougars a 3-0 lead.
KML would bring that to 3-2 in the bottom of the 4h. Brooke Flitter and Kylie Zehren kept the Chargers in check the rest of the way. They allowed 3 hits and struck out 10.
With Waupun's win tonight this sets up a winner take all game Monday night in Waupun.
There will also be a brain cancer awareness event in honor of Campbellsport shortstop senior Alexis Feucht who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma brain cancer last October. There will be a dozen raffle baskets and a 50/50 raffle. Game starts at 4:45.
