The Spartans launched four home runs in a 12-hit attack to back two-hit pitching to improve to 11-9 overall and 9-5 in North Shore Conference play.
Nicolet scored twice in the top of the first. Maddie Koenings' two-out, two-run homer in the bottom of the inning put the Spartans ahead 3-2.
The Spartans scored four runs after two were out in the bottom of the second, Mia Buske singled home Kelsey Corbett, who had led off with a bunt single. After Makenna Gish reached on an error, Ava Thelen belted a three-run homer.
West tallied three times in the third. Koenings led off the inning with a double and Mia Buske capped it with an RBI double.
Thelen led off an eight-run fourth inning with her second home run of the game. Kailey Kurtz followed with a two-run homer and Makenna Gish had a two-run single later in the frame. Veda Selin plated a run with a sacrifice fly.
Thelen was 2-for-2 with her two home runs, scored three and drove in four. Mia Buske, Gish and Koenings had two hits and two RBI each. Corbett also had two hits.
Olivia Culp notched the win in the circle. Selin retired all six hitters she faced over the final two frames.
