Freshman Cassidy Gall threw the first perfect game of her Cedarburg career Tuesday night. She finished off the last 1.1 innings of a suspended game from May 3rd to reach the accomplishment going 5 innings and striking out 8 in the Bulldogs 11-0 win.
Freshman Sarah Prom also recorded her second career two home run game with homeruns in the 2nd and 4th innings. The Bulldogs then went on to finish the season sweep versus Whitefish Bay and the script in game 2 was almost the same.
Gall threw 7 innings, allowing 3 hits, 0 ER and striking out 15. Prom and Gall each added another homer run in the 8-1 victory. The victories set the stage for tonight’s North Shore conference game against Hartford. A battle of the top 2 teams in the conference. Cedarburg is looking to avenge their only conference loss of the year.
