Game 1
In game one of the twin bill, Kylee Jansen stymied the T-Birds, limiting them to just an infield single. Jansen would go the full 7 innings for Deforest finishing with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks.
Deforest's Trysten Schroeder blew open a close game in the 7th, with a base loaded triple as Deforest would go on to win 7-1.
Emma Crary threw all 7 innings for the T-Birds giving up only 1 earned run.
Game 2
Madee Strampe went 3 x 4 with a double and a 2 run homer as Baraboo held off a furious rally by Deforest to win the night cap of the double header 8-7. Tenley Scott added 2 hits for Baraboo.
Caroline Lewison started for the T-Birds giving up 7 earned runs going 6 1/3 with 7 strikeouts and 4 walks. Emma Crary got the last two outs for the save and was aided by left fielder Paige Lewison throwing out the tying run at the plate in 7th.
