This announcement follows just a day after the official cancellation of the WIAA Season. There are sure to be more such possibilities coming out soon.
With the cancellation of the 2020 high school softball season we are looking to host a tournament in Denmark at the John Miller field (Circle Tap) for high school players. We would leave it up to each school team if they wanted to include graduated seniors from this year on their team. If we are able to get 8 teams for the tournament we would run the tournament on Friday August 14th and Saturday August 15th. If we get more than 8 teams we could start on Thursday August 13th or play on Sunday August 16th depending on the number of teams.
I have a registration form attached along with rules. Rules are pretty much WIAA with no new inning after 1 hour and 30 minutes or 7 innings. If time limit met and have not completed the 7th inning and it is a 1 run game the game would continue, I can provide more detail if needed.
