Mishicot is defending Champ -- Can anyone challenge them in 2020?

Random Lake, Howards Grove and Reedsville will challenge for title

The Big East conference was won last year by Mishicot who was undefeated in conference play and was the state runner up in Division 4.

This year Mishicot aims to repeat but will have to fight to retain their title as they lost six senior starters including lefty pitcher Megan Junk who went 18-1 in pitching the Orange & Black clad Indians to the WIAA Division 4 title game against Horicon. Junk compiled a 2.42 ERA prior to the Final Four. Also lost are Kourtney Leroy who batted .532 in 79 at bats and laced five homers; Taylor Krueger wwho batted an even .500 in 76 at bats with seven doubles; catcher Jacdelyn Novy who batted .388 with seven doubles; and first sacker Katie Koeppel who hit .570 with six doubles. That is a total of 163 hits lost to graduation.

Random Lake should be a strong competitor as they are returning their pitcher and most of their starters and has a solid coaching staff under the direction of Head Coach Mike LaFever. it should also be noted that Random Lake is now in Division 4 after having played some tough fastpitch while up in the Division 3 Ranks.

New competition this season will come from Howards Grove who lost their senior pitcher but returns everyone else. Reedsville returns their entire team as well. The Big East promises to  be an extremely competitive conference this season.
