Games will be played at Madison College Softball Facility

The Wisconsin vs Minnesota Border Battle, a doubleheader between recently graduated players from each state is scheduled for Tuesday, July 16th at the Madison College softball facility on the east side of Madison at 3201 Anderson St., Madison, WI. Games are at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

The original Border Battles rotated from state to state to state as it involved Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa. Those early games when played in Wisconsin took place at Carson Park on Gelein Field in Eau Claire.  After a number of years the battle became just a two-state deal as the summer schedule played by the Iowa High Schools did not get over early enough to make it feasible anymore.

This year's Wisconsin roster is filled with some of the state's top Division 1 and Division 2 players from across the state.

Here is the roster by name, the high school they attended and the college they plan to attend and perhaps play some fastpitch softball.

Games are at 11:00 am and 1:00 PM. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
