OMRO -- Jalyn Moen's walk-off , two-run single capped a four-run seventh inning as Berlin tripped Wrightstown in a WIAA Division 2 regional opener Thursday. Jenna Sternitske opened the seventh with a walk, and consecutive singles from Natalie Ott, Allisa Smoody and Hannah Nigbor brought Berlin within 8-6. Josie Reich's hard grounder to shortstop plated another run, and Josie Bartol's bunt single loaded the bases. Moen, who had struck out in her previous three at bats, drove a two-strike pitch to right field to score Smoody and Reich for the victory. Berlin, 4-15, advances to a regional semifinal Tuesday at Waupun. Natalie Ott earned the victory, striking out six and allowing just four earned runs.
