Brie Gauthier went 5-for-5 with a home run and five RBI as the Spartans rapped 16 in the game, including five home runs.
Sophie Averkamp drew a bases-loaded walk, Gauthier followed with a two-run single and Courtney Day laced a two-run double in a five-run first.
Brooke Ellestad, Sydney Supple and Libby Neveau hit back-to-back-to-back homer runs to lead off an eight-run second inning. Erica Lenz had a two-run single and Supple hit a three-run double to cap the frame.
Gauthier lined a three-run homer in the fourth and Neveau closed the scoring with a two-run dinger in the fifth.
Neveau was 3-for-4 and Ellestad, Supple and Day had two hits each.
North scored in the first inning off of Supple, who worked the first three innings, fanning five. Gauthier worked the final two frames, striking out three in the fourth inning.
