Poynette jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first and rode the arm of junior pitcher Casey Fountain to a 10-0 win over Shoreland Lutheran. Fountain fanned 11 and had 2 hits to boot. Molly Anderson was 4x4, Lucy Cuff 3x4, Brianna Kowald 2x3. Mara Millard doubled while Anderson had two doubles.
Poynette is now 17-0 on the season.
