Oshkosh North and Oshkosh West both win Thursday

Sydney Supple threw a perfect game with 17 strikeouts and North rapped 18 hits.

Brooke Ellestad opened the game with a solo home run and capped a six-run first inning with an RBI double. North built the lead to 9-0 and finished with a six-run seventh.

Ellestad finished 3-for-3 and Libby Neveau went 4-for-5 with three runs batted in. Sophie Averkamp and Mathena Higgins had two hits each. Eleven different players had hits for North.

Annika Johnson leads Oshkosh West to victory over Kaukauna Thursday night on the mound and at the plate.  Johnson got the win pitching 6 1/3 innings giving up 2 runs and striking out 5.  She also was 2x3 with an double and an RBI.  

Kaukauna  took a 2 - 0 lead in the top of the third off Khloe Hinkins second RBI double of the game. 

Oshkosh West finally got on the board in the bottom of the fourth inning lead by a double from Dominique Bauer and an RBI single from Annika Johnson. 

West took the lead 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth with back to back doubles by Leah Engstrom and Emily Miller.  Tagging up on a deep fly out by Brianna Geis, Miller scored on the errand throw to third base.

West picked up an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth inning off a double by Annika Johnson and an RBI by Leah Engstrom.

Kaukauna was able to get the tying run on second base in the top of the seventh when Anna Bauer lead off with a single and Hayley Wittman walked.  Johnson and Tatum Duff, who came in relief for Johnson, were able to stop the threat to end the game.
