Mathena Higgins' two-run triple sparked a five-run rally after two were out in the third inning as the Spartans pulled away. Libby Neveau's two-run double was followed by Noelle Frank's RBI single in a three-run fifth. Higgins and Courtney Day each had two of North's 10 hits.
Fond du Lac scored its run in the bottom of the first inning for a 1-1 tie before North took the lead for good with a run in the second.
North's Sydney Supple allowed two hits and two walks, striking out 15.
