OW struck first in the fourth inning taking advantage of an AE error that scored Brianna Geis who reached on a HBP. OW added to their lead  in the top of the sixth on a two out RBI double by Brieann Kitchen scoring Annika Johnson.

AE finally got to Lacey Cruz in the bottom of the sixth tying up the game scoring two runs on RBI singles by Marissa Engelmann and Gwen Hendrick.  

OW regained the lead in the top of the seventh after a lead off double by Taylor Emory, an RBI single by Emily Miller to take the lead, and an insurance RBI single by Annika Johnson.

Annika Johnson, who came in in relief of Lacey Cruz in the sixth inning, closed out the seventh with a pair of strikeouts.
