Brooke Ellestad hits two of Oshkosh North's six home runs and drove in eight runs to lead the Spartans to a 17-10 victory at Marengo, IL, on Saturday, April 13. Ellestad finished 4-for-5 with two doubles.
The Spartans rapped 23 hits in the game without a strikeout. Winning pitcher Brie Gauthier was 4-for-4 with a home run and Libby Neveau, Sophie Averkamp and Courtney Day had three hits each. Averkamp, Day and Syd Supple also homered for the Spartans, who held a 13-2 lead entering the fourth inning.

Oshkosh North 11, vs. Ottawa, IL 3, at Marengo
Supple struck out 18 Ottawa batters and was backed by a 12-hit attack, which included three home runs.
Neveau's two-run bomb put the Spartans up 2-0 in the first and Supple hit a two-run dinger in the third to put North up 4-1. Ellestad, who was 4-for-4, capped the North scoring with a three-run homer in the sixth frame.
