Waterford used timely hitting and a series of Falcon miscues to defeat Westosha Central 7-1 in Waterford.  Kiser was the winner for the Wolverines, going the distances.  She allowed 9 hits but only one run.  Waterford started the scoring in the 2nd inning.  A one-out single by Barwick put runners on 1st and 3rd.  A wild pitch plated one run.  An O'Cammers double to right scored the next two.  The Falcons got one of those runs back in the 3rd when Olivia Nahorniak hit a home run to center.  But the Wolverines responded with three more in their half of the frame.  Grace Trautman led off with a home run to right.  Two errors and a single later, they scored two more runs.  Although the Falcons threatened, they were never able to score again.  "Waterford fielded the ball very well and they killed several chances.  They made it a very frustrating night for us.  Give them credit, they were the better team tonight."  (co-head coach Tom Lampe)  With the loss the Falcons drop to 3-2 on the season and 2-2 in the SLC.  They will return to action next Tuesday when they host Delavan.
