Luxemburg-Casco defeated Waupaca 9-0 in a game shortened to 6 innings due to lightning. The second game of the scheduled doubleheader was also postponed due to the weather conditions.
Luxemburg-Casco scored in the top of the 1st inning on an Ally Dart sac fly which scored McKenzie Hanson. LC broke the game open in the 4th scoring 5 runs on hits by Lauren Adams and Ali Routhieaux an RBI sacrifice by Jenna Jorgensen, and a bases loaded walk to Kendal Prevost. The Spartans scored their final 3 runs in the top of the 5th on consecutive two-out hits by Hanson, Routhieaux, Jorgensen, and Dart.
Ally Dart picked up the win by throwing the first four innings allowing 3 hits with 2 strike outs and 1 base-on-ball. Sierra Shefchik pitched the final 2 innings surrendering 1 hit.
