The Spartans rapped 15 hits to back the combined three-hit shutout by Sydney Supple and Ashley Borowitz. Supple fanned five over three innings and Borowitz struck out three over the final two frames.
Supple and Mollie Bittner were each 3-for-3 and Brooke Ellestad and Brie Gauthier added two hits each. Supple drove in four runs and Libby Neveau rapped a grand slam home run in a five-run fourth inning.
