The Cougar's had their season opener Friday against Weyauwega-Fremont and came away with a 5 inning 11-0 win. Alyssa Muench pitched a no hitter facing the minimum 15 batters while walking one and striking out 13.

The Cougars got things going right away in the bottom of the first scoring six runs. Erica Marchant and Morgan Fryman (2-4) singled and Muench walked to load the bases. Lauren Heisdorf smoked a 2 RBI single up the middle. Adriana Dechant followed with a RBI single. Shayley Narges hit a sac fly and Allysa Klahn had a single to drive in 2. Grace Nerat added a RBI single in the 2nd. Muench had a 2 RBI single in the 3rd and Andrea Yahr added a RBI groundout in the 4th.
