Final scores were 6-2 and 2-1

Game 1

Brittany Moore threw a perfect game through 5 1/3, eventually going the distance in game 1.  Moore struck out 11 and Jenna Speth supplied a two run home run to top off a five-run fifth for team Wisconsin giving them a 6-0 lead.  Minnesota added one in the sixth and another in the seventh but it was not enough as team Wisconsin won 6-2 in game 1. Claire Ryan had two hits for Wisconsin who got seven hits in all. Moore walked one and allowed five hits. Minnesota was led by Carly Esselman and Brittany Denn who each had a double. Five different players collected one hit each. The loser was Carlie Brandt who allowed seven hits, fanned just one and walked none.

Game 2

Jordan Kleman, Bella Mathias, and Jenna Speth combined to pitch seven innings with Speth getting the win, pitching the final two innings. The three pitchers combined on the four-hitter.  With the score tied 1-1 in the bottom of the seventh, Bailey Schultz led off with a bunt single, advanced to second and scored on a "walk-off winner" on a single to center field by Claire Ryan.  Wisconsin sweeps Minnesota for the first time in the seven-year series.  Wisconsin now leads series 7-4-1
