The Fastpitch Chronicle

The Border Battle between some of the top senior softball players from Wisconsin and Minnesota will take place at St. Thomas University in Minnesota Tuesday night starting a 5 pm.  The border battle has evolved from the Tri State Challenge that involved Minnesota, Wisconsin and also Iowa.  With Iowa having summer High School softball the game took place to late in the summer and the challenge fizzled out after the 2005 season.  After a four year hiatus the coaches from Minnesota and Wisconsin decided to try a border battle between the two states.  This will be the seventh consecutive year that the two team will face off with the record being an even 6-6.  The box scores along with pictures and game highlights will posted here on fastpitchchronicle.net  Stay tuned!
