News from the Illinois Chills travel team website tells us that junior pitcher Jennah Speth of Delavan-Darien 2016 verbally committed to University of Illinois Chicago.
Tessa Mikkelson of Beloit Turner is a preferred walk on at UW Green Bay for the fall of 2015.
Abbey Long, junior pitcher from Eau Claire North has been recruited as the number one pitching recruit and has made a verbal commitment to Division One Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut on a full athletic scholarship. In addition to her pitching duties Abbey will also be batting in the line-up for the Bobcats as she is also a phenomenal hitter. She had three home runs in the same game vs. Superior last season. Abbey is very excited to be committed and focused on preparing to play ball at the next level.
