More Team Profiles and a fish story to boot!

Just a bit outside!

Hello Fastpitch Fans!

There are more team previews on the website and as of tonight I am caught up on getting the ones that have been submitted posted. We’re far, far, far from where we ought to be. However, there are still some days left before the season officially opens on the 16th.

If you are a regular reader of the information on this website and a coach be sure to check out the teams in your conference that have not had a preview posted. Be sure to find out if there are any new coaches in your conference and let them know about the website and let me know about those new coaches too.

I’ve added more names and numbers to the State Records page and I’ve jotted down a couple of notes from the team previews of coaches who will most likely reach a new milepost in the wins column this season. Be sure to let me know when you or a coach you know of does reach 100, 200, 300, 350 400, 450, 500 wins. There are certificate awards from The Fastpitch Chronicle for those mileposts.

I spent the morning fishing with a good friend, longtime Marshall assistant and then head coach Bruce W.  We didn’t catch many fish but we learned that we have much more in common that what we thought and a lot more in common other than fastpitch softball. He wound up with the fish to clean as he told me his wife really likes fresh bluegills. Next time I’ll keep ‘em.

I have been trying to figure out how to get bulk emails out to all coaches with one simple click from the website that is run on the Ngin platform. I think I’m just about there in the figuring out stage.

The Poynette Fastpitch Organization is running an early youth fastpitch Jamboree for 10-Under and 12-Under teams. The dates are May 16-17 with a three game guarantee and an entry fee of just $125. Contact me for more information or send a check for $125 to: PFO – PO Box 564, Poynette, WI 53955.

There is also room in the Summer Jamboree run by the PFO. We have room for teams in the 10 and 12 Under age divisions. Entry fees for that event are also some of the most reasonable in the state and country. The event offers great facilities, great concessions, excellent officiating and great organization. Check it out as well.

The PFO has a new website at www.pfo.clubexpress.com where you can get more information on the events and the organization itself, a 501 (c) (3) public charity.

Have a great day!
Keep it Rising!

Bob
