The Wisconsin Renegade 18U team based out of LaCrosse recently took 2nd place in the WI ASA B State Tournament in Wausau. The team went 5-2 on the weekend, beating the Seymour Flames, the Milwaukee Invaders, the Wausau Intensity and the Monroe Lightning. They then lost 2-1 to the Chippewa Flash before beating the Falls Angels 7-1 to advance to the championship game against the Chippewa Flash again where they fell 6-2. The girls brought home another ASA Plaque after winning the WI ASA B 16U State Championship last year. The team will finish their 3 year Renegade careers by competing in the ASA 18U B Northern Nationals in Rochester, MN on August 1-4.
The team is made up of Topanga Skiles - LaCrosse Central - 2013, Kathleen Pangier - LaCrosse Central - 2013, Sadie Schroeder - LaCrosse Central - 2013, Taylor Haines - Arcadia - 2014, Brittany Baldwin - LaCrosse Central - 2014, Brooke Baldwin - LaCrosse Central - 2014, Erin Ramsey - LaCrosse Central - 2014, Kelsey Rox- LaCrosse Central - 2014, Katlyn Roesch - LaCrosse Central - 2014, Isabella Alvarado - LaCrosse Central - 2014 and Abbie Gunderson - GET - 2015.
The team also finished 3rd out of 47 teams last year in the ASA 16U B Northern Nationals in Columbus, WI.
