The 40-Team Baraboo Thunder Big Top Blowout has been a well established tournament for the last nine years as is evident by the number of teams that enter.
A weekend that was well-suited for fastpitch aided the Thunder in running a great event once again. Tournament Director Jenn Parchem reported that a total of 117 games were played. The rain on Saturday only caused the loss of one 10-Under game that got played on Sunday morning.
The top three placings in the 10-Under Division were:
First Place - Beloit Screamers
Second Place - Beloit Rage Fastpitch
Third Place - Shelby TD Padesky
The top three placings in the 12-Under Division were:
First Place - Beloit Screamers
Second Place - Franklin Force
Third Place - New Berlin Magic
The top three placings in the 14-Under Division were:
First Place - Wisconsin Bandits
Second Place - Plover Fastpitch
Third Place - X-plozion
The top three placings in the 16-Under Division were:
First Place - Plover
Second Place - X-plozion

The Baraboo Thunder will also host a Class B/C tournament on July 13-14-15. For more information on that tournament check the Thunder website. This is the first year for this tournament which will be known as The Thunder Classic. Twenty-five teams have entered as of today and registration is still open.
