Freshman Lindsay Sandleback threw a complete game and rapped a two-run homer for West Bend West but the Spartans couldn't overcome three costly errors.
Sandleback allowed four earned runs on seven hits and six walks. She fanned three.
Ava Thelen went 2-for-3 for the Spartans.
Dodgeland/Hustisford 8, Fall River 2
Fall River put up a good fight against DH tonight but Dodgeland /Husty held on for the win 8-2 in 7 innings. Kira Schall had her second outing in the circle this year, throwing a complete game with 7K 2BB and 0ER.
Overall DH had some solid defense behind her. Offensively DH scattered 11 hits throughout the game to score 8 runs. Mya Scheier, Norgan Kehl adn Atumn Soter all had a 2x3 night for the winners.
