Capitol North
Poynette traveled to Watertown today to take on the Phoenix. A nine-run first inning was a stunner for the home team. The Pumas backed off the attack and scored five more runs and won the 10-run mercy rule 14-0.

Lake Mills stayed even with with a 13-1 win over Lodi and sets up a matchup of two of the state's top five teams on Thursday in Poynette at Diamond of Champions.

The key game in the conference was the Columbus traveling to Lakeside Lutheran. A win would keep the winner one game behind Poynette and Lake Mills whereas a loss would put them two behind those two today and two behind the winner of the Lake Mills at Poynette game on Thursday in Poynette. Columbus had things going their way with a 7-1 lead after five innings. In the sixth they allowed three runs and changed pitchers. Walks were thedifference from that point on from our reports and the winning run was a walk off base on balls. Final was 8-7 Lakeside.

The third game in the North Division saw Lodi taking on Lake Mills in Lodi.
