West is the Conference Favorite

Like everyone else, it’s been about 22 months since we have played, so it will take a few games to get comfortable.  We are replacing four high quality starters from the last time we’ve played so it will take some time to get our footing and team chemistry going but we have all three of our pitchers returning so hopefully that will give us some stability.  We will need our returning players to continue what they have done in the past and also get some help from our new players & our role players to continue the success this program has had for the last 5-6 years in the Woodland Conference and beyond.  We have a really challenging Non-Conference schedule so I’m excited to see how we respond this year.

Returning Players that should continue to make an impact.

  • Andrea Kuhne(SR/P/1B)  1st team AC(19’)
  • Emily Stange(SR/1B/OF) 2nd team AC(19’)
  • Elena Barnes(JR/MI/P)  Hon Men. AC(19’)
  • Ella Wyskochil(JR/MI/P) 2nd team AC(19’)

New Players that we are hoping to give us a lift.

  • Grace Timmers(SO/OF/MI)
  • Jenna Mallmann(SO/OF)
  • Sayde Froschmayer(SR/OF)

Woodland Conference favorites (West)

It should be a competitive conference/division this year with West Allis Central on the rise along with Greendale, WI Lutheran, New Berlin Eisenhower & New Berlin West all looking to continue their previous success.
