SPASH scored four runs in the bottom of the first en route to a ten-run win over Marshfield in Stevens Point. Two in the fourth, two in the fifth and four more in the last of the sixth produced the 12 runs.
Winning pitcher was Jones with seven strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings along with six hits allowed and a pair of free passes. The loser was Barwick although her reliever Danahue fanned nine Panthers in 4 1/3 innings of relief.
Saloun and Earnest doubled for SPASH who collected just six hits on the game. Six errors were devastating to the Marshfield defense.
