It was a good opening night for the Eagles at Haines field. Erin Seifert got the win on the rubber and Emma Brecka closed it out in the 5th inning. The Eagles 8 and 9 hitters Julia Rud and Hailey Johnson both went 3-4 at the plate and each drove in 3 runs. The home opener for the Eagles for conference play vs. long-time rival Elmwood who is now Elmwood/Plum city as they have CO-OPED in softball this season! This will be a tough test.
